Oh, how I love your lino bird. And that tin with your paint -- wonderful travel palette or storage. That Bible is exquisite too. Yes, I understand being of diverse and eclectic tastes... it can be a blessing or a curse at a sale!

It’s mostly good as I always win at car boot sales… might’ve a problem if I have to move to a smaller house tho

My April has been very similar except that I lack the requisite bat knowledge/awareness to enjoy their return! I saw one in the distance several weeks ago but that’s all I can report.

I would love to hear French bats! Did you know pipistrelles have regional accents? I’m very lucky having all these roosts so I can get to know the bats on a first name basis x

I’m going to guess no? My son can hear their social calls, I can’t anymore, which made me very sad, which is why my husband got me a bat detector.
