This is why I learnt bookbinding. The first few pages had a ‘nice’ picture on them. But really, we need to get over these hang ups because if your working for an imaginary critic you can’t make mistakes, and if you can’t mistakes, you can’t learn, and you don’t have happy little accidents and everything is too smooth and perfect and boring because if people wanted perfect renderings they can just get a computer to do it (give or take hands)
Relatable. I’m one of those people who has a stack of empty sketchbooks that are too nice to spoil with bad drawings.
