Always poetry...and bits of Nature with your work!

I can’t tell if this is a suggestion for Victorian album contents or a mistaken belief that my insane witterings are poetry. I’m pretending the latter, obviously

You do write poetically! I was thinking what a perfect combination --- your word gems and your art---would be in such beautiful housing!

The sketchbook is GORGEOUS. And we get Oystercatchers in Pennine Lancashire, which is just about as far from the east coast as it is the west.

We have them over on Otmoor with all the other waders but not on the golf courses… till now

What an absolutely lovely restoration of the leather album!

Thankyou. More of a reimagining than a restoration I think

Lovely sketch! In winter, oystercatchers are frequently found on playing fields across Edinburgh. A few weeks ago I saw an adult oystercatcher with a chick in rural Dumfries and Galloway nowhere near the coast. I think they like to nest on gravel anywhere, coastal or on gravel shores of rivers or on lake islands.

Ah, interesting. I’ve never seen oystercatchers here though I checked and there are some at Otmoor. I don’t think her liked it on the golf course, he didn’t stay very long!
